I could only get as far as Columbus Ohio in 87 and 88. They were great comps and lots of fun.

My first one in 1986. I still have fond memories of the wonderment of this new world. EVERYTHING was new to me and my friends and soon to be friends. Tons of pics and video of absolutely everything. I don't recall all of my run in the beginner class that year, just a ridiculusly long pedal grind (come on guys it was '86 in the beginner class!) at the end because I ran out of tricks. I saw Eddie Fiola do one earlier that day goofing off and went for it. I rode to Frankie goes to Hollywod- Relax! I Still have the first place beginner trophy!
